1960: Phuoc Long Textile Factory was established by merging Visyfasa with Lien Phuong Textile Factory as nationalized by Decision No. 1015/QĐ-UB dated on August 4th, 1977 by People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

1993: Phuoc Long Textile Factory was renamed Phuoc Long Textile Company and supervised by Ministry of Light Industry as decided by Decision No. 239/CNn/TCLĐ dated March 24th, 1993.

2004: In order to obey Ministry of Industry’s equitization policy to privatize State-owned enterprises, Phuoc Long Textile Company has changed its operation model. 

April 2005: It was official for Phuoc Long Textile Company to be changed to Phuoc Long Garment – Textile Manufacture and Service Joint Stock Company as decided by Decision No. 1547/QĐ-TCCB.

August 2007: Phuoc Long Garment – Textile Manufacture and Service Joint Stock Company was changed to Phuoc Long Investment Joint Stock Company to be fit with market structure and diversification of services.

Achievements:

1996:
 Became to be an official member of VCCI (Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry).

2000:
   - Became an official member of Vietnam Garment Textile Association.
   - Being voted for “Favorite Vietnam Products 2000”.

2005:
   - Golden Cup for Vietnamese Trademark dedicated by Vietnam Bureau of Intellectual Property.
   - Flag of “Excellent Competition Unit 2005” dedicated by Ministry of Industry.

2006:
   - Vietnamese Golden Star Award.
   - Certificate of Golden Cup for Vietnamese Prestigiuos – Good Quality Trademarks of Textile – Garment – Fashion industry  
   - Certificate of Merit by Minister of Ministry of Industry for achievements to overcome plans and other missions. 
   - Certificate of Merit by Director of HCMC Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for various achievements during green planting movement and "Green – Clean – Beautiful Environment” movement organized by HCMC.
   - Certificate of Merit by National Committee of International Economic Cooperation for excellent achievements to develop products and trademarks to implement international economic integration. 

2007:
   - Certificate of Merit by Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance for achievements to implement Social and Health Insurance policies for employees.
   - Certificate issued by Organisations Board of “Vote For Typical Garment – Textile Enterprises of Vietnam” program conducted by Saigon Economic Times Magazine and Vietnam Garment Textile Association: Enterprise of highly-different products; Enterprise of Strong Production and Consumption of Fabrics for Export.
   - Certificate of Merit by Minister of Ministry of Commercial Industry for achievements to overcome production and business plans and other missions. 

2008:
   - Achieved top 100 of ''TRUSTED BRAND – 2008'' voted by readers of Vietnamese enterprises website. 
   - Phuoc Long Company achieved "Golden Cup for VietNam Environmental Protection 2008"
   - Phuoc Long Company received award "Typical Textile - Garment Enterprise 2008"
   - Mrs. Ho Thi Thu Ha (General Director) to be honorly awarded "VietNameses businesswomen for the progress of the community 2008"
